When did life get so busy? Days rush by, months turn into years and special moments get lost within the blur of everyday life. Family photoshoots are the ideal way to capture those precious moments before they become a memory – letting us relive them time and time again. Whatever your special moment – from the birth of a new baby to finally getting the whole team together in the same place at the same time for a multi-generational shoot – let’s tell your perfectly individual family stories.

Congratulations! Now you’re going to be a little busy for a while, as the new little love gets used to the world. In between the feeds, nappy changes and nursery rhymes, how about we freeze those precious moments you’ll never want to forget? I make sure newborn photoshoots are slow and calm, and we always follow the little one’s lead. While you’re enjoying sweet newborn snuggles I’ll take a look around to find the places where lighting is best. You don’t need to do any special preparation for my arrival, I know what being a new mum is like – I have two kids of my own. If there are toys in the way, I’ll move them. If there are crumbs on the floor, I’ll hoover them. If there are dirty dishes on the side, I’ll wash them. All you need to do is enjoy this time with your baby.

When I became a mum, I remember everyone telling me they’d grow up so fast. I thought sure… doesn’t feel like it with this lack of sleep! But boy, were they right. Every stage has whizzed past without a chance to stop and soak it all up. Which is why I’ve done my best to capture each memory for us to look back at for years to come. The tiny toddling stage before they lost their milk teeth, to playing together like best friends before the teenage angst set in, and I’ll be getting myself ready for that oh so emotional stage just before the eldest heads off to uni. Whatever your family’s ‘special’ moments are let’s turn them into physical memories to adore forever.
The young and
young at heart
Whether they’re 8 or 80, if they’ve just arrived on the scene or they’ve been hanging around for a while, a family photoshoot is one to treasure forever. It’s a wonderful chance to capture the special bonds between siblings, cousins, (great) grandparents and everyone in between. Four generations of fierce females? That’s something you’ll want to remember. Great gran meeting the newborn for the very first time? That’s a really special moment. Little children with their cousins making memories? That’s something they’ll love to look back at when they’re older. We can organise a session with your close family just as it is or get the whole clan together for a multi-generational shoot.
