I’d like to share today a recent family photography session held in LS28 Leeds. I delivered the final frame the other evening and my clients absolutely loved it! I was so pleased.
I first photographed this wonderful family when I started out in business a number of years back so it was great to return. Jackie is a friend of mine and bought a photography voucher for her husbands’ birthday present (as a surprise) and thankfully Mike was really pleased! We spent a morning at their beautiful home, the weather wasn’t too kind when I arrived but later in the morning the rain lifted and we got some wonderful shots in their garden. Autumn is a great time for family portrait photography sessions and this was no exception. The leaves in abundance (although a little soggy) provided a super backdrop and we had a great time.
I always take time on my photo shoots so that I can capture the ‘real’ family interacting together, this is very important to me. The whole family were such fun to be around and even their Granddad joined in which was very special. The bond between Niamh, Gabriel and their Granddad was impenetrable – editing the images brought a tear to my eye. It actually made me remember my Granddad and the fun we used to have together.
It was such a wonderful day in Leeds and there are some beautiful images that I know will be treasured by Jackie, Mike and their children over the years. Enjoy viewing the images below. Thanks.
