This client bought a Mother’s Day Gift Voucher for his lovely wife last year. When we came to plan the family photography session, we discussed a number of places that had special meaning to them. The Cow & Calf rocks kept popping up in the conversation as one of their most treasured places.
As a Children & Family portrait photographer, it’s very important to me that my clients connect with the place where we photograph. Often this is in the family home and garden (I love to photograph in clients’ homes) or like in this photo shoot, a location that they love to spend time at.
The sun was shining throughout this whole session and the views were spectacular from the top of the Cow & Calf. I hope you like this selection of images I’m sharing with you today. Thanks for looking.
Running races. Don’t you just love them. I love the determination here to beat her Dad… and I like the fact I’ve captured Darcey in mid air too. When I’m on my family portrait sessions, sometimes I see an image before it happens and then keep my fingers crossed I manage to get it. This was one of those images.
I love this image. Totally unposed. Natural and heart felt. That’s what I like my images to portray. A beautiful Mother’s Day memory.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this selection of images from my Children & Family Portrait photography session at the Cow & Calf rocks on Ilkley Moor. If you’d like me to capture your family memories whether it’s in your home or on location, please give me a call on 07947 160185 and I’ll be delighted to chat through your shoot and get a date booked in.
