Family photography at home | Huddersfield

Meet Robin. An avid reader and lover of toy cars – especially a little red one….This has to be one of my favourite baby & family portrait photography sessions from last Autumn. When I’m photographing small children the majority of my portrait sessions take place at the family home – which is where the children feel the most comfortable and parents don’t have to worry about travelling to a location.  The light in this family home was lovely. The large patio doors let lots of light into the living room so this is where I started first. Robin showed me his toy cars, books and teddies and he enjoyed lots of cuddles with his mummy and daddy. The main photograph above is one of my all time favourite images… I love his expression and would love to know what he was thinking. I never rush a family and baby photography session however I am always aware of when a baby’s nap time is as we have a good chat in the pre shoot consultation.

Robin had a sleep in the middle of the photoshoot whilst we all enjoyed a cuppa. It was a lovely photography session and here are a selection of their favourite images

I hope you enjoyed this selection of images from one of my Baby & Family portrait photography sessions. If you’d like me to capture your story then please contact me on here and I’d be delighted to book you in.  I take bookings months in advance. I look forward to hearing from you. Cecilia x
